i remember
i wasn’t sure how to start this conversation with you - because even myself found it a little difficult to simplify the complexity
i remember
i kept telling you that i need to go to the seaside, be next to the sea and go into the sea… in order to compose my thoughts and share with you
i remember
it was such a raw material, raw memory, raw emotion - but then you embraced all of these and all of those - and you sew them all into something, something i feel it’s deeply etched into my worries and tenderness
thank you my friend
thank you for capturing the known, the unknown and the in between - with me
composed by dear friend Flo Josephine
in Floriography, Sunflower means unwavering faith - im a v stubborn person, i dunno know how to shift from one direction to another one instantly but perhaps with your accompanying in these those journeys, perhaps things could be a bit different x
‘Hsi-Nong’s flowers’ is a text piece written by my dear friend Flo Josephine. i remembered we did a group show together in the end of 2nd year at Chelsea College of Arts , it was significant, it was beautiful. Flo seems to read my notions really closely… im glad we talked through these flowers and it’s a sweet turnaround for you too x
thankyou Flo x you’ve been a gentle one 🌻
